Vocare — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 July 2026

Vocare is a vocabulary app that turns your reading into flashcards. It is built to be private by design. In plain terms: Vocare does not collect your data. There is no account, no Vocare server, no analytics, and no third-party tracking SDKs.

What stays on your device

Optional "Advanced" features and your own API keys

Vocare's core features are free and run on your device using Apple's built-in intelligence. You can optionally enable richer cards (illustrations, spoken audio, a specific text model) by adding your own API keys for providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or ElevenLabs.

Data we collect

None. Vocare collects no personal data and no usage analytics. This matches the "Data Not Collected" declaration on the app's App Store privacy label.

Children

Vocare is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
